POE Pilot Update - September Scheduling Error, Toronto Meetings Today & Saturday

September Scheduling Update & Final Deadline Today

This is a reminder regarding the resolution for the NavBlue configuration error that affected our September flight schedules.

To address the issue, Porter management has agreed to several remedies, including MMG protection for approved schedule drops and the ability to request single-day drops from multi-day pairings. See full details here.

Final Requests Deadline All remaining requests for schedule changes related to this issue must be submitted to Crew Resources by 1600 TODAY, September 19th. Please note that retroactive approvals will not be granted.

Last Chance: Toronto Informational Meetings Today and Tomorro

The first of our informational meetings was a great success, and we're looking forward to seeing more of you at the final two sessions. This is your last chance to attend one of these important meetings, which are being held in Toronto to ensure all Porter pilots have the opportunity to participate. Pilots from all bases are welcome.

Each meeting will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Introductions from local representatives and primary pilot contacts.
  • An overview of the ALPA structure and the role of the ALPA Canada board.
  • Key resources like Aeromedical Services, the Critical Incident Response Program, and enhancements to Fly Well.
  • The collective bargaining process.
  • What to expect in the coming months.
  • An open Q&A session.

Pilots from all bases are welcome to attend either of the scheduled meetings. We encourage you to join us, meet your representatives, and get your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you there!
