Porter Pilot Informational Meetings Kick Off Monday
Join your Interim MEC and ALPA staff for a series of informational meetings to learn about your ALPA benefits and resources and get a clear picture of our path forward toward collective bargaining. This is a valuable opportunity to connect with your representatives, ask questions, and get involved.
Each meeting will feature presentations from the MEC and ALPA staff with plenty of time for an open Q&A session. Your Interim MEC is committed to a transparent process and will keep you informed every step of the way.
Meeting Schedule
Monday, September 8th - Thunder Bay
- Time: 1500 ET
- Location: Delta Hotel Thunder Bay (2240 Sleeping Giant Parkway)
- Refreshments will be provided.
The Thunder Bay meeting will cover:
- Introductions from local representatives and primary pilot contacts.
- An overview of the ALPA structure and the role of the ALPA Canada board.
- Key resources like Aeromedical Services, the Critical Incident Response Program, and enhancements to Fly Well.
- The collective bargaining process.
- What to expect in the coming months.
- An open Q&A session.

- Wednesday, September 10th: Vancouver (Sheraton Richmond - Westminster 1 Meeting Room, 7551 Westminster Hwy. Richmond, BC)
- Friday, September 12th: Ottawa
- Saturday, September 13th: Montréal
- Sunday, September 14th: Halifax
- Friday, September 19th: Toronto (YTZ)
- Saturday, September 20th: Toronto (YYZ)

Get Your Membership Card
To be eligible for voting, elections, survey, and many ALPA resources, you must be a member of ALPA. Many of you are already official members if you completed a card during the organizing campaign.
If you haven't yet, we encourage you to apply for membership as soon as possible by clicking the link provided below. There is no longer a sign-up fee. Without a signed membership card, you will not be able to vote on temporary agreements, elect or be nominated for leadership roles, participate in surveys, or access member benefits and insurance programs.
