Porter Pilot Informational Meetings Continue

The first of our informational meetings with the Interim MEC and ALPA staff was a great success! Following that momentum, the series of meetings continues tomorrow. Pilots from all bases are welcome to attend any of the scheduled meetings.

This is a valuable chance to learn about your ALPA benefits and resources and get a clear picture of our path toward collective bargaining. We encourage you to attend, meet your representatives, and get your questions answered. Each meeting will include presentations followed by a transparent, open Q&A session, as we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Tomorrow's Meeting: Vancouver

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, in Vancouver.

  • Time: 1500 PT
  • Location: Sheraton Richmond - Westminster 1 Meeting Room (7551 Westminster Hwy. Richmond, BC)
  • Refreshments will be provided.

The Vancouver meeting will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Introductions from local representatives and primary pilot contacts.
  • An overview of the ALPA structure and the role of the ALPA Canada board.
  • Key resources like Aeromedical Services, the Critical Incident Response Program, and enhancements to Fly Well.
  • The collective bargaining process.
  • What to expect in the coming months.
  • An open Q&A session.
